Day Six.

My aesthetic is shifting.

A 6x6 camera, and medium format film, has changed how I structure the images I make.

In May of 2011, My uncle gave me his Yashica-D camera that he purchased for a high school photography class in 1972. It sat on the shelf for a bit, it took me a while to figure out how it would fit into my repertoire of cameras.

It wasn’t until I used it at Forage that I realized what it was capable of.

Today I went through some more film from the last year. Because I am visiting the past, you would think I feel nostalgic. I don’t.

I’m glad I’m moving.
